A series of collaged portraits, featuring Darnella Frazier, a wet dog, and Sha’Carri Richardson.
Because of Darnella Frazier’s video, we saw what happened to George Floyd. His death sparked Black Lives Matter protests in hundreds of American cities and in over 60 different countries.
The wet dog was inspired by this incident.
American athlete Sha’Carri Richardson was suspended for testing positive for cannabis prior to the Tokyo Summer Olympics in 2021, but later earned a silver medal in the 100m and helped the US women’s relay team win the gold medal in the 4 x 100m relay at the Paris Summer Olympics in 2024.
